Mean Witch Rehearsal

Grace wants to be a mean witch with a green face for Halloween. She already has her costume, she just needed the face paint for it to be complete. Only problem is that she wanted to keep it on until Halloween.

Greek Festibal

Grace and I went with Lily and her parents to what Grace calls the Greek Festibal. Lots of food, dancers and rides, so Grace was so happy.

Grace's first day of preschool was Sept. 7. We think she is enjoying it. She likes the reading and craft sections of the day. She is going Tues and Thurs for three hours.

We saw lots of family on this trip.

Later in the day, we went to the waterfront to see the new promenade and to look at the big ships.

Herschel Carousel Museum

We visited the carousel museum in the original facotry, which was one of the first companies to produce carousels in the late 1800's. On exhibit are also 1950's kids rides the company produced. Grace rode the kid's carousel made specifically for children unfer 5, and she rode the large carousel from the early 1900's.

Love those Haircuts

Grace loves going to the salon for her haircut. She sits still and lets Carolyn cut it. She loves to look at herself in the mirror.

After our trip to Georgia, we only spent a few days at home before traveling to Buffalo. Dan and I attended his cousin's wedding, and we spent time with the family.

It was cool, but we did find time to do a little swimming.

Grace and I spent a week and a half in Georgia. We visited Parker at his house the first of the week then went to Grandma and Grandpa's. We went to an amusement park and played in the sprinklers.

Grandmother Maggie's B-Day

Grandmother Maggie turned 93 this year, and she was greeted by a suprise party.
