Another Snowy Day

We had about six inches of snow Friday, and it's still around today. Grace borrowed a snowsuit from Lily, since the snow is over her boots and played in the snow. She went on the sled with Dan only once, preferring to just dig in the snow. It seemed to powderey to make a snowman Saturday. Today, the sun was out but none of us felt like going outside...just too cold. Tonight it supposed to be around 13 degrees.

New Do

I was so tired of Grace's hair always getting into her food and smelling like blue cheese and syrup. We decided to have it cut at a shop called Pigtails and Crewcuts here in Mooresville. She got to sit in her choice of race cars and watch Dora cartoons. She was a little apprehensive but was happy when she looked in the mirror. I wanted a layered bob, but the lady didn't seem to want to do that, so we settled for having about 8 inches cut off.

Outdoor Time

Today was sunny and almost warm, so we took our Starbucks playdate outside. Across from the Starbukcs there is a gated area which houses fountains in the summer. Perfect for kids to run around in while moms talk. Here is Grace with my friends 9 year old daughter, Aspen. Aspen also came over Saturday night, and they very patiently took 24 cans of playdoh and combined them into one. Totally my fault for leaving them out.

Art Date

Grace loves to paint and play with her playdough. Today she had friends over to help her play. We also had markers, crayons, cornmeal to dig in and ooblek to squeeze.

Rolly Pollies Playdate

Our moms' group met for a private playdate and Rolly Pollies. Grace danced to songs from "Lilo and Stitch", went down the slide by herself and kept the little kids company.

Bedtime Stories

We babysat my friend's little girl overnight. Grace had to bring us books to read, then decided she had to sit with us for storytime.

Celebration at Grandma and Grandpa's

A Bakery for Christmas

Grace wanted a bakery for Christmas. Santa granted her wish. She spent the morning
playing with her new playdough instead.
Around 4:00, we left for Georgia, where she got more presents as she walked in the door.

Cookies and Milk for Santa

She had to leave 4 cookies.

Christmas Eve

Our friends, Mark and Karen, invited us to Christmas Eve dinner at their house. It was a great meal and good time. Grace even got presents there!

Early Celebration with Family

We celebrated Christmas with Papa and Grandma Char the Sunday before. Of course, Grace got so many presents. She didn't want there to be any presents left under the tree and kept trying to unwrap the rest. When Dan told her no, she said "but it's Christmas".

Party for Just Us Girls

Grace hosted a tea party at our playdate today.
