Lily's Birthday

You can't tell Grace anything ahead of time because she can't wait. So we didn't tell her about Lily's birthday party until the day before. When she woke Saturday morning, she was ready to go. The party was a lot of fun, and Grace ate ice cream cake.
That night she spent the first night away from her new home. Grandma Char watched her overnight so we could attend a Christmas party. They made cookies and she played with new toys. I don't think she complained at all.

Pudding Helps

Grace was sad when Grandma and Grandpa left. Chocolate pudding eased her sadness.

Making Cookies

Grandma and Grandpa came to visit us a few days after we returned home from their house. Grace loves having the company. It gave Dan and me a chance to do a little X-mas shopping. During one of our outings Grace stayed home and starting missing us...making cookies was the answer.

The Singing Angel

Today we visited with Santa and Rudolph in downtown Mooresville. A professional photography studio took free digital pictures with Santa. We're still waiting for the photos because we know they'll be excellent. But most will be of her gabbing to Santa...she really had a lot to tell him.

I want to play cornmeal!

I got the bright idea of filling a pan with cornmeal and letting Grace dig in. She loves her sand box so much that this seemed a good substitute. It is very messy...but lots of hours of fun.

Grandmother Maggie's House

I've always loved visiting my grandmother's house. Now Grace and Parker get to visit. It makes me so happy.

Thanksgiving at Grandma and Grandpa's

We went to Georgia for Thanksgiving and stayed the weekend. We had our usual, large dinner and Grace entertained us all. Sandra's X-mas ornaments will never recover.

Queen Bed

Grace likes to watch cartoons in our bed. This time she was queen over her dolly kingdom.
